A reversible disc pendant, one face has a range of green hues in a crackle effect surface whilst the other face has carving work inspired by the Scrimshaw carvings practised in particular by ancient mariners on long ocean journeys.....both surfaces have an ancient and time worn finish.
The articulated dangle bead 'swag' gives the piece extra movement and originality.
Sliding beads allow necklace length to be ajusted for a variety of styling options.
NB...I have used Silver-filled wire in this design which has a 10% silver content. This means that 10% of the outer layer of the wire is bonded with sterling silver, hundreds of times thicker than plated wire, it will not flake off as with some plated wires. It has the look and feel of sterling silver but is much more economical for my customers.
**Please note that the manequin used in the photographs is smaller than 'life-size'
