'Millefiori' usually refers to a a kind of ornamental glass in which different glass rods are fused to create a pattern...in Italian it literally means 'a thousand flowers'. In my 'Millefiori-Contrast' designs I have used polymer clay in the same way, fusing different colours to create an intricate pattern. In this range those patterns contrast with bold graduated shades of a single colour- all of it clay, no painting involved. A collection for lovers of smaller earrings.
